Enjoy one of the premier black bear viewing spots in Whistler. Join one of our local professional nature guides and photographers, on your early morning wilderness black bear Land Rover sunrise off road excursion. Starting in April/May, black bears emerge from hibernation and begin to feed on the new spring growth. Take in the majestic high elevation panoramic views of the Coastal Mountain Range including; waterfalls, glacier lakes alpine old growth forest and wetlands. Make certain to keep watch for the black bears, bobcats, osprey, deer and coyote’s that call the region home. This adventure will leave you appreciative of our natural world. Avid photographers will find this a prime opportunity to capture stunning images!

Please Note: Bears are wild animals and therefore we cannot guarantee that every bear viewing scenic tour will see bears. All Tours operate on sunny and rainy days.

Private Tour: Up to 6 adults and 1 child/youth (total 7 guests). 7 Adults will fit if 3 of 7 adults are "smaller in body size."

We just finished our evening bear tour and what an amazing memorable experience we had. We were lucky enough to have Tim as our guide he was so knowledgeable and friendly which made our experience that much better. The tour itself was great, the vehicle was clean and comfortable and we were lucky enough to see multiple bears. If you’re thinking about a tour I could not recommend Whistler Discovery Tours more! Even if we were not able to see a bear tonight, all the knowledge we gained and the locations your taken to are incredible.

We had an amazing morning, searching the forest with Larry for bears and we came across a beautiful mother and cubs. It was an incredible experience. During the whole of the drive, Larry shared so much interesting information about bears, their life and habitat etc. We learned so much about them which really enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend this group and Larry was an excellent friendly and knowledgeable guide. The vehicle was also very comfortable.
