James' Image Galleries

Avid photographer and outdoor enthusiast James Fougere is a native of Toronto, Ontario. Prior to attending university he lived and skied in Whistler from 1989 to 1990. James went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science Studies.

James was an IT account executive from 1994 to 2002. He then spent 5 years running a successful retail business in eastern Canada, selling outdoor lifestyle apparel and gear. He sold his business in 2007 to pursue a lifestyle change. James travelled for a year and a half around North America, skiing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and hiking. In 2008 James and his 2 Great Danes (Rocket and Lola) made Whistler their home.

James is an accomplished photographer whose photographs have been featured on the National Geographic website. He has a keen interest in landscape and nature photography and photographed most of North America's national parks.
