Marvel at the stunning vistas of the Tantalus Mountain Range while en route to Paradise Valley. Then explore a 420-acre Ecological Reserve near the Cheakamus River and wander through old-growth Coastal Temperate Rainforests with 1200 year old Western Red Cedar trees. Walk alongside streams replete with salmon, ducks and blue herons. This area is home to the largest winter nesting ground of Bald Eagles in North America. Visit a Coast Salish Big House and learn about the rich history and traditional practices of the First Nations people. This adventure will leave you appreciative of our natural world. Avid photographers will find this a prime opportunity to capture stunning images.
